Materials:

Instructions:

  1. Clean all equipment and containers thoroughly before use to avoid mold and bacteria growth.
  2. In a kitchen mixer bowl, whip shea butter until creamy, scraping down the bowl frequently.
  3. Add liquid oil and whip on low for about 1 minute until well blended.
  4. Optional: Add desired essential oils and whip again.
  5. Gradually add aloe vera gel, whipping on high until the lotion reaches a fluffy consistency.
  6. Scoop lotion into a jar. Store extra lotion in the refrigerator.
  7. If greasy, rub lotion in more and wipe off excess after 5 minutes. Adjust aloe vera gel for less greasiness.
  8. Enjoy naturally smooth, moisturized skin!

Hey, I’m Camille—co-creator of Welpr and your go-to guide for all things clean living. After selling my last company in the health food space, I went non-toxic to heal an autoimmune condition. It did wonders for my health, but navigating which products to buy wasn’t easy. We built Welpr to make that journey feel a bit easier.  When I’m not working on Welpr, you’ll usually find me in the sauna, sipping a raw milk latte while doing a puzzle, or walking with my pit bull Romeo in my hometown of Austin, TX.
